Girl Power at the World Equestrian Games 2018
After 10 days of competition, TRYON closed the doors on the beautiful victory in showjumping of the German rider Simone Blum (Soft’Up Pro stirrups), only 29 years old and recent addition to the Freejump Top Riders team ! Simone and her amazing mare DSP Alice were untouchable for their first WEG, without any fault from the begining to the end. Simone is the first woman to bring home with an individual gold medal since the begining of these equestrian games created in 1990.
The Swiss rider Martin Fuchs (Soft’Up Pro stirrups / Liberty One tall boots) had a great show as well, taking the silver with Clooney.
The young generation took the honors with Steve Guerdat on the third place, they all showed that they have all the talent to be part of the world elite!
Max Kühner (Soft’Up Pro stirrups) was 6th for Germany individually. Alexis Deroubaix was the best French rider (Soft’Up Pro stirrups / Liberty One tall boots) ranked 9th, a very good result for his first test at this level with Timon d’Aure.
Sweden finished second with Henrik Von Eckerman (Soft’Up Pro stirrups) and Germany third with Simone Blum (Soft’Up Pro stirrups).
In eventing, Maxime Livio (Soft’Up Classic stirrups / Liberty One tall boots) brought home the team bronze medal and an 11th place individually.
Tim Price (Soft’Up Pro stirrups / Liberty One tall boots), recent winner in Burghley, finished 8th and Tom McEwen (Soft’Up Pro stirrups / Liberty One tall boots) 12th.
We are very proud to support and participate to your success.
